Reopening After Nearly 5 Months
This Skills Immigration draw marks the first time British Columbia has resumed invitations in this category since May 8, 2025. In the October 2 draw, candidates were invited if they met one of the following two criteria:
Criteria 1: High Wage Position Requirements
- Minimum wage of $90/hour or annual salary of $175,000
- Job offer must fall under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3
Criteria 2: Provincial Nomination Score Requirements
- Minimum score of 140 points based on the BC PNP candidate scoring system

Base Stream Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for the Entrepreneur Immigration Base Stream must meet a minimum registration score of 115 points and satisfy other stream requirements. All invited candidates in this round exceeded this baseline score.
Candidates must meet the following complete eligibility criteria:
Financial Requirements:
- Personal net worth: At least $600,000 CAD
- Business investment capability: At least $200,000 CAD
Experience and Education Requirements (meet one of the following):
- Business experience: Within the past 10 years, 3 years as a business owner-manager, or 4 years as a senior manager, or 1 year as a business owner-manager plus 2 years as a senior manager
- Educational alternative: If business experience requirements are not met, proof of eligible post-secondary credentials may be submitted as an alternative
Language Requirements:
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 4
Business Operations Requirements:
- Business ownership: At least 1/3 ownership of the business (100% ownership required if using educational credentials in lieu of business experience)
- Ability to establish a new business or acquire and grow an existing business
- Job creation: Create at least one full-time position for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
