Furthermore, the selection criteria for this draw were demanding, with the minimum Ranking Score set at 727 points. This indicates that the invited candidates generally possess strong language proficiency, education, work experience, and connections to Manitoba.

Among the 26 invitees, 7 declared having a valid Express Entry profile and a corresponding job seeker validation code within the federal immigration system. If these candidates successfully obtain provincial nomination, they will receive an additional 600 points in the federal Express Entry system, significantly boosting their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.

About the "Skilled Worker Overseas Stream"

The Skilled Worker Overseas stream, utilized in this draw, is one of Manitoba's primary pathways for attracting foreign skilled workers who meet specific criteria. The core requirement for this stream is that applicants must demonstrate an "established connection" to Manitoba.

This connection can be established in one of three ways:

  1. Through the support of family members or friends residing in Manitoba;
  2. Having previous post-secondary education or work experience in Manitoba; or
