On February 2, 2026, Ontario conducted six targeted draws through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) under the Employer Job Offer stream framework, issuing a combined 1,825 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination. For all draws listed, Ontario considered candidate profiles created between July 2, 2025, and January 28, 2026. Invitations were directed primarily at physicians, REDI pilot region job offers, health occupations, and early childhood educators and assistants.

What is the REDI pilot and how does it fit within Employer Job Offer streams?
The Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot is a regional initiative under the OINP aimed at helping employers in smaller communities, rural areas, and northern Ontario attract skilled workers when local hiring cannot meet labour demand.
REDI operates within Ontario’s existing Employer Job Offer streams rather than as a standalone stream. In practice, eligible candidates must meet the requirements of an Employer Job Offer stream and hold a full-time job offer located in one of the pilot regions: Lanark County, Leeds and Grenville, Sarnia-Lambton, or Thunder Bay. There are no additional REDI-specific criteria and no separate application—candidates may be selected through targeted draws.
What invited candidates need to do next
Candidates who received an invitation must submit a complete application to the OINP within the program’s deadline of 60 days, and meet all application requirements.
After receiving a provincial nomination from Ontario, successful nominees can apply to the Government of Canada for permanent residence (PR).
